What happened?

I like the variety when using this app. It wasnt as loud as some others Ive tried. Very recently I couldnt close the app screen or physically shut off the screen with out everything turning off. What happened? I have another storm app that has become my main app because if this change. If the problem were to be fixed Id like to use it again. But until then :(
